Fines Not Payable by Waiver

Fines for certain offenses cannot be paid by waiver, and require a court appearance.

Non-Waivable Offenses

Non-Waivable offenses include:

  • Any felony or indictable offense
  • Operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or any drug of abuse or permitting another to operate your motor vehicle while under such influence
  • Reckless driving
  • Drag racing
  • Leaving the scene of an accident
  • Driving while under suspension or revocation of driver's license
  • Driving without a license
  • Expired driver's license over 90 days
  • A third moving traffic offense within 12 months
  • Passing a standing school bus
  • Willfully eluding or fleeing a police officer
