Fines for certain offenses cannot be paid by waiver, and require a court appearance.
Non-Waivable Offenses
Non-Waivable offenses include:
- Any felony or indictable offense
- Operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or any drug of abuse or permitting another to operate your motor vehicle while under such influence
- Reckless driving
- Drag racing
- Leaving the scene of an accident
- Driving while under suspension or revocation of driver's license
- Driving without a license
- Expired driver's license over 90 days
- A third moving traffic offense within 12 months
- Passing a standing school bus
- Willfully eluding or fleeing a police officer
