Do’s and don’t’s for easy recycling
What about Yard Waste?
Typical yard waste should ideally be mulched back into your yard. This keeps your yard healthy by acting as a natural, and free fertilizer and minimizes waste in landfills. However, natural materials like leaves, grass and twigs may be included with your regular trash inside the cart. When needed you may bag or bundle items. Keep bags and/or bundles to a maximum of 12-14 per week. Bundles should be no longer than 4 feet in length and no items outside the cart should be more than 50 lbs in weight.
Kimble Company provides an annual Holiday Schedule for easy reference.
***Due to COVID-19 pandemic the City Hall is closed to in person business. For those customers who purchase pre-paid single bags, please adhere to the following until further notice:
Please drop off your payment in an envelope marked "TRASH BAGS" in the red drop box in front of the City Hall along with your name, address and phone number.
Once your payment is received we will call you to let you know that your bags are available for pickup. You will pick them up in the Police Department lobby.
